Three months of quiet time is a long time.. I had some "stuff" to deal with and a new setup to get used to. I've decided to go solo with my performances. Not only that, I also decided to go the digital route and use a midi controller with Reason running on my laptop. I guess that's why it took so long for me to get it together. It was very frustrating and indeed an arduous task to learn how to program the controller and moreover, rearrange my songs such that the digital setup works but at the same time, the songs aren't too unrecognisable from the original recordings (I think I failed at the last part but you be the judge). Nonetheless, I'm really happy with my new setup! I've been practicing daily and feel a lot more confident about playing in front of an audience.
That's why I'm here! I'm finally ready to get out there and play again!
